The representatives of Oyo State at the ongoing Vemp Senior National Championship Tennis Game currently ongoing in Abuja have scaled through to the next round with massive wins.
According to the statement released by the Head, Media and Publicity of Oyo State Tennis Association, Mr. Olusola Alabi, the male category which kicked off today saw the guys gave a very good account of themselves.
Mr. Alabi said Mubarak Ganiyu defeated Sani Saidu from Abuja (7-5 6-2), Isiaka Toriola humbled Anodonwu Gideon of Rivers State ( 6-0 6-0), Abiodun Adekunle defeated Sunday Chinedu from Anambra State (7-5-6-1), while Michael Akinmusire won (6-0 6-0) after his opponent Mohammed Mohamed from Abuja failed to show up.
While addressing the newsmen after the game, the Assistance Coach, Gazah Olaitan commended the players for the brilliant performance and urged them not to relent in the next round.
