A candidate for the office of the vice president, Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents’ 2023 national election, Prince Shegun Oduntan, has expressed optimism that his principal for the office of the national president, Chief Emenike Nwokeoji, will emerge victorious at the end of the 2023 national election.
Speaking in an interview shortly after their presidential campaign flag-off in PortHarcourt, the Rivers State capital, Prince Oduntan described his principal candidate, Chief Kingsley Emenike Nwokeoji as a tested and trusted presidential candidate, having served as a chapter chairman to becoming the national vice president of ANLCA.
Prince Oduntan maintained that they have galvanized enough support for their presidential candidate, Chief Emenike Kingsley Nwokeoji in the Western zone, hence the reason to kick start their campaign flag-off in the Eastern zone and as well, to challenge the Eastern freight forwarders to do the needful, by giving their unflinching support to their own, Chief Emenike Nwokeoji.

The vice presidential candidate, who berated the other faction of ANLCA for going contrary to the harmonization agreement by the “3rd party,” opined that it was agreed that the 8 slots/elective positions be shared into 2 by the two factions, but wondered why the other faction decided to hijack the forms meant for the 8 elective positions.
He was of the view that the decision of the other faction to go against the effort of the “3rd party” which has been applied in the BOT, among others, exposed their level of greed and unpreparedness to embrace the restoration of total peace in ANLCA, thereby making the 2023 national election to be a test of popularity among the two factions.
Responding, Chief Enoch Iwueze expressed his optimism that Chief Emenike Nwokeoji will emerge victorious at the end of the election, having been a vice president under the administration of Prince Olayiwola Shitu, adding that it was the administration of Prince Shitu and Chief Nwokeoji that took ANLCA to its level of prominence in the Federal Government of Nigeria.
While Chief Theodore Ejezie who said he has over time refused to comment on the crises that rocked ANLCA over the years, said he decided to be part of the presidential campaign flag-off of Chief Emenike Nwokeoji because of his integrity, and with the convinction that he would bring ANLCA back to what the association is known for.
