The fast rising afro-pop artist Kinzy B has shot the video of his popular hit single titled Miracle off his upcoming album,
Christened Kingsley Obire, born on May 25, 1992, and hails from Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State, Southern Part of Nigeria.
Despite losing his father at a very tender age of one year and six months old, Kinzy B recounted what happened to him age 6: “I was abandoned by my family and I found out that I was alone in life with nobody around me. I started sleeping in the streets at night, because nobody took care of me. Even my mother, who was engaged with her second husband and my brothers abandoned me.
“My childhood was indeed rough because I grew up on the streets where I faced terrible dangers. I remember one night when I attempted to commit suicide because I was sad and lonely but one voice came into my mind and said: “Hey little boy, don’t worry! You will be great in the future! Don’t do that! Then my mind calmed down. Instead of killing myself, I decided to learn how to fish.
Next day, I bought fishing kit and went to the river to catch some fishes”
Kinzy B began singing as a teenager and kept the hope alive that one day he would be a force to be reckon with in Nigeria music industry.
“It was not easy for me when I started because it took me months to gather the money needed for recording in the studio sessions.
“The hard life and street dangers made me to be resilient and undaunted in life. The experiences motivated me to work on my growth.
“I made my choice to get formal education to develop my musical talent and make greater impact in the society hence my decision to attend the Nigeria Broadcast Academy to study Journalism” he stated.
The Afro-Pop artist disclosed that his songs are anchored on real stories and life experiences to encourage people to pursue their dreams and avoid troubles in their way to success.

“I am a singer and songwriter who want to recreate the spirit of the Afrobeat music by incorporating traditional African rhythms and texts in my songs. Since my early ageI discovered the beauty of the native Afro music and started singing typical Nigerian and especially Urhobo songs. In 2009, at the age of 15, I had my first studio records. In 2017, 1 released my first official love single “Say No” produced by Saint Uzi. It was my first popular song, in 2017, I recorded the song “Confirm” produced by Popito which was presented in 2020. In March 2021, I released the video: “Confirm” produced by GevoseCreations.
In April 2020, I recorded “Ellebe” produced by FattBeat which performs specific Afrobeat rhythm modern and danceable. In 2021, I also recorded and presented the video of “Ekelebe”, produced by SlideBarz. In June 2021, I recorded free style video of the emotional song “Do” produced by Slider. In 2021, my single “Be There” was released and it was recorded by SlideBazz. In July 2021, released the single “Pray”
and its video was produced by Slide Bazz in December 2021, I did a song titled: “Miracle”. It was produced by BishAudio.
MY PLANS FOR THE FUTURE
I am not where I want to be but I keep on pushing to get there. I have lots of recorded songs, which are not promoted or supported by video due to insufficient fund, I have done more than 25 recorded songs within a period of one to two years. I am looking forward to producing them and have them recorded in videos.
