LAPO Microfinance Bank in alignment with the Central Bank of Nigeria has designed and deployed structured activities pre and during the World Saving Day event through structured events such as Webinar, In-person visit to secondary schools, internal staff engagements and social media campaigns .
The event with the theme “conquer your feat through savings” underscores the essence of leveraging savings to achieve sustainable wealth, especially, amongst Nigerian youths.
In a press release issued by the Bank, Oluremi Akande, Director, Communications & Branding, says “LAPO Microfinance Bank has remained in the forefront of driving financial inclusion and will continue to remain a catalyst in influencing the desired outcome of expanding the reach of financial services to the unbanked, underbanked or financial excluded poor. over the years we have as a Bank actively participated in the annual WSD event contributing to creating awareness about savings whilst helping to inculcate savings culture amongst youths”
