A Non Governmental Organization, Voice of the Hopeless Foundation otherwise called VOTH Foundation Saturday, December 16, 2023, visited Makoko Children Development Foundation, House on the Lagoon, Makoko Waterfront in Yaba area of Lagos and presented them with some items in celebration of the Christmas season.
In his keynote address, Jegede Ayodele Oluwagbenga, Founder, VOTH Foundation, noted that the idea of the programme is to celebrate the festive season with the underprivileged kids so that they can also have a sense of belonging.
The event tagged “Box a Child” has more than 60 underprivileged kids of the community as beneficiaries with items such as clothes, launch box, socks, exercise books, stationeries, food and other Christmas gifts in each box.

The Founder who is full of praise to all donors, volunteers and sponsors said “I am truly overwhelmed by the success and impact of the event. Witnessing the outpouring of support from volunteers, sponsors, and team members has been inspiring and humbling. The smiles on the faces of the underprivileged children have left an indelible mark on my heart.
“The event is a testament to the collective effort and dedication of everyone involved. Together, we have made a positive difference in the lives of these children. Seeing the impact firsthand fuels my passion and determination to continue this noble cause” he concluded.
VOTH Foundation has been in existence for some years now and has been doing some humanitarian duties such as sponsoring underprivileged kids to school, community projects, organizing of skill acquisition trainings among others.
