The draw for the Sahara Conference of African Basketball League has been released.
The Nigerian champions Rivers Hoopers have been placed in a challenging group alongside former champions US Monastir.
The Rivers State side earned their spot to represent the country after winning the 2023 Nigerian league championship.
The Hoopers, who competed in the league’s inaugural edition, are set to face tough competition from Rwanda champions APR, AS Doianes of Senegal, and former champions US Monastir of Tunisia.
According to the draw, the Sahara Conference playoffs will take place in Dakar, Senegal, from May 4th to May 12th, 2024.
