Head Coach of Adeyemi FC, Kolawole Emmanuel, has outlined the team’s commitment to maintaining their winning streak and strong performance in the ongoing Ibadan Football Council (IFC) league.
Addressing his players at the training ground on Monday, Coach Emmanuel who is widely known as “Coach Drey,” stressed the importance of sustaining the impressive performance for the Ibadan-based professional football club without letting up.
In his words, “I’m pleased with the results from our recent matches; you all performed admirably. However, we cannot afford to rest on our laurels if we are serious about success in the beautiful game. We know our capabilities, and we must continue to strive for excellence. Our upcoming game demands our full attention, and we will give it our all”.
Highlighting the significance of the next match, Coach Drey urged his team not to settle for draws but to aim for victory in every game.
He also expressed gratitude to the club’s president, Mr. Abiodun Adeyemi, aka “Baba Abe,” for his unwavering support, pledging to continue making him proud.
Adeyemi FC has participated in nine matches in the IFC league, securing victory in six, suffering two defeats, and drawing one.
Looking ahead, Adeyemi FC is poised to secure another win as they prepare to face YK Abass FC on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at 2 PM, live at Olubadan Stadium, Ibadan.
