Environmental Advocacy: Prince Israel Orekha receives JCI 10 Outstanding Young People’s Award

The Administrative Director of Connected Advocacy for Empowerment and Youth Development Initiative, Prince Israel Orekha, has received the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Ten Outstanding Young People’s Award.

Reports has it that Orekha, an Environmental Advocate and Crusader for Environmental Sustainability, received the award on International Youth Day at the Choice Gate Hotel and Suites in Benin City, Edo State.

In his acceptance speech, Prince Orekha emphasized the significance of environmental protection, citing it as the inspiration behind his work.

He expressed gratefulness to the JCI community for acknowledging his efforts, despite being someone who prefers to let his work speak for itself.

In his word: “I’m happy to receive your this award, and I devote it to all the youth working lifelessly to make a difference in our communities.”

The event with the theme “From Clicks to Progress, Youth Digital Pathway for Sustainable Development,” was chaired by Barr. Osasu Omoragbon, representing Barr. Osarodion Ogie, the Deputy Gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming Edo State guardianship election.

In his reaction, Omoragbon said that JCI demonstrated its commitment to empowering youthful individualities and promoting sustainable development.

“JCI effots in feting outstanding youth like Prince Orekha serve as a testament to its fidelity to creating positive change.

“We are proud to fete Prince Orekha’s outstanding benefactions to environmental advocacy and sustainability.”says Barr. Osasu Omoragbon, Chairman of the event.

Sandra Efemuaye., National President, JCI, Warri, said that the Junior Chamber International (JCI) TOYP event was a resounding success, pressing the impact of youthful individualities in driving positive change in Nigeria.

“As we move forward, it’s essential to continue empowering youthful individualities to take action and produce lasting change.

“The JCI TOYP event serves as a memorial that collaborative sweats can lead to a further sustainable future.

“We compliment Prince Orekha on his well- justified award and look forward to seeing the uninterrupted impact of his work.
