The Kenneth Okanoro Foundation (KOF), in cooperation with the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Youth Development, has unveiled a comprehensive medical and surgical outreach across the 10 wards of Ndokwa East Local Government Area in Delta State.
Slated to run from August 30 to September 20, 2024, the programme will deliver an array of healthcare services at designated centers within the area.
Kenneth Okanoro, Founder of KOF and the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Development, emphasized that this action aligns with the foundation’s commitment to supporting Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E Agenda, which seeks to enhance the weal of Delta State residers.
According to the statement, a team of seasoned medical professionals will oversee the outreach, icing that the original population receives high-quality care.
The services rendered will include health education, free laboratory wireworks, consultations, and drug distribution.
The outreach will also offer dental and eye care, counseling, physiotheraohy sessions, and surgeries for conditions such as hernias and excision necropsies.
Okanoro encouraged residers of Ndokwa East to completely share in the three- week programme, stressing the significance of regular health check- ups.
He noted that this outreach is a vital element of the foundation’s charge to ameliorate the health and well- being of the community.
This action underscores KOF’s dedication to making healthcare accessible, particularly in pastoral areas where medical services are frequently scarce.
