The Youth Wing of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has prompted the Federal Government to borrow technology and non-kinetic approach to insure speedy division of justice and address judicial challenges.
Mr Chukwuma Okpalaezeukwu, the Acting National Youth Leader of the apex Igbo socio-artistic organisation, made the call during their 53rd National Executive Committee meeting on Monday in Awka.
Okpalaezeukwu said “We advise that technology and more of non-kinetic approach be applied as it concerns the speedy division of justice in Nigeria to decongest our corrective installations.
“A lot of our youths who are being held in various detention centres across the country without trial, can be expeditiously tried, and those who are innocent, be released to make something good out of their lives.
“In the interest of public security, we prompt the office of the National Security Adviser, the Attorney- General of the Federation, the Chief Judge of Nigeria and other applicable diggings to expeditiously consider and address these judicial challenges,” he said.
Okpalaezeukwu said the group embarked on a five-day project inspection tour in Anambra as part of strategies towards holding political office holders in all Igbo speaking states responsible.
“We’re impressed with the administration’s passion for youth commission, free education programme, preface of STEM education programme, free antenatal and delivery policy.
“We support the clampdown on quack or unacceptable health installations in the state, because our people earn the stylish.
“We recommend the governor for his financial prudence, as our examinations show that the Governor has not espoused a song since the commencement of his administration, yet, he continues to embark on numerous audacious systems.
“We urged residents to continue to support Governor Soludo as he strives to make the Anambra of our dream,” he said.
On security, Okpalaezeukwu prompted the state government to involve youths in the local security operations in the state.
He also appealed to Governor Soludo adopt the new Minimum Wage Act by the federal government to meliorate the harsh profitable realities endured by civil servants.
Okpalaezeukwu complimented all recently tagged moderators and councillors in Imo and Enugu states, prompting them to emplace the huge coffers available to them, to bring development to the grassroots.
He prompt Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi and Rivers states to insure peaceful and successful LG choices to deliver the tips of republic to the people at the grassroots.
