Officials of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) have intercepted popular cross-dresser, Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju otherwise known as Bobrisky at the Seme Border whilst attempting to flee the country.
This was disclosed in the statement signed by KT Udo, NIS Public Relations Officer and made available to journalists.
The statement reads in part: “The Service wishes to inform the public that OKUNEYE IDRIS is a person of interest over recent issues of public concern. He is undergoing interrogation and will be handed over to the appropriate Authorities for further action.
“The Service assures the public that it will continue to be civil and professional in its statutory responsibility of manning the Country’s Borders” the statement concluded”.
You will recall that the Nigeria’s House of Assembly is currently investigating the case of allegations made by Martins Vincent Otse a.k.a VDM, including the release of an audio recording where Bobrisky reportedly claimed to have bribed officials from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) with N15 million.

In the audio, Bobrisky also alleged that his six-month jail sentence at Kirikiri prison was not served due to the intervention of his influential godfather.
