NAGAFF dissolves Anselem-led  Interim Administration in Onne Seaport Chapter

...Unveils 11 New Standing Committees

High Chief Tochukwu Emmanuel Ezisi, National President of National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has dissolved the Onne Seaport Chapter of the leading freight forwarding association in Nigeria.
Ezisi made this announcement during the 2025 National Executive Council meeting held in Lagos on Monday, April 14, 2025.
According to the National President, this move is necessary because the Chairman of the chapter, Ike Okechukwu Anselem, who has been acting in an interim capacity since January 18, 2024 has obtained the Chairmanship form to contest in the forthcoming election billed for 22nd of May, 2025.
“From today, Monday 14th of April, 2025, Chief Jerry Nwokedi is to resume as the Sole Administrator of Onne Seaport Chapter of NAGAFF, he is to be assisted by Ralph Nwoigbo as the Secretary.
Both officers are directed to pick their appointment letters immediately after the NEC Meeting” stated the National President of NAGAFF.
In a related development, Ezisi also announced the immediate dissolution of all Standing Committees of NAGAFF and announced the appointment of new members of the committees namely:

The New Vice President of Eastern Zone henceforth is Ngozi Nzowo while Christopher Uwakwe is deployed to Oil & Gas
The National President who charged all Committee members to be productive and dedicated to their responsibilities however demand for monthly report from the Committees.
“A new date of swearing in of all committee members will be announced soon by the National Headquarters of NAGAFF” stated the President.
Earlier in his speech, Ezisi also urged all Chapter Executives to reassess their engagement and prioritize tangible investments in the future of the Association.
In his speech, Dr. Eugene Nweke, former National President of NAGAFF suggested some steps that needs to be taken to achieve optimum well-being and
cohesion of the Association.
In his presentation titled “Repositioning NAGAFF for Sustainable Growth and Success in a Dynamic Freight Forwarding Industry”, Nweke posited that “NAGAFF needs to review and revise its governance structure, streamline decision-making processes, enhance communication channels, foster a culture of transparency and
accountability as well as Review and amend the Registered NAGAFF Constitution 2004″.
According to him, “By repositioning NAGAFF for sustainable growth
and success, we can drive growth, innovation, and excellence in the freight forwarding industry. Let’s  work together to build a robust and sustainable association that thrives in the face of industry challenges.”
