SIFAX Group and its top leadership emerged big winners at the 2025 Marketing Edge Awards, taking home three prestigious honours in recognition of their industry excellence and leadership impact.
At the ceremony held at the Lagos Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, SIFAX Group was awarded Outstanding Indigenous Conglomerate of the Decade, while its Chairman, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, received the Outstanding Maritime CEO Personality of the Decade. The Group Head of Corporate Communications, Olumuyiwa Akande, was also named Outstanding Corporate Communications Personality of the Decade.

The accolades highlight SIFAX Group’s multi-sectoral contributions to Nigeria’s economy—spanning maritime, aviation, logistics, oil and gas, hospitality, and more.
Publisher and CEO of Marketing Edge Publications, Mr. John Ajayi, praised the recognitions as “well-deserved,” noting that SIFAX Group and its leaders have continually “redefined excellence in business leadership, innovation, and communications.”
Reacting to the awards, Dr. Afolabi said:

The event also marked the 22nd anniversary of Marketing Edge and the 13th edition of its National Marketing Stakeholders Summit, bringing together Nigeria’s foremost marketing and brand leaders to celebrate innovation, impact, and growth in the industry.
