By Ajibola Adedoye

SIFAX Group has once again reinforced its dedication to service excellence and customer satisfaction by actively participating in the 2025 global Customer Service Week celebration themed “Mission: Possible.”

Held from October 6 to 10 across all SIFAX subsidiaries, the weeklong celebration served as a platform to appreciate internal and external customers, strengthen teamwork, and promote the company’s customer-centric culture.

Speaking at the grand finale, Mrs. Wunmi Eniola-Jegede, Executive Director, Corporate Services, emphasized the company’s ongoing commitment to enhancing customer experience through innovation and staff development.

“At SIFAX, our customers—both internal and external—are central to everything we do. Their satisfaction defines our success, and we will continue to invest in our people and processes to make service excellence a lifestyle,” she said.

She also paid tribute to the loyalty of customers and the dedication of staff, acknowledging the contributions of past and present employees to the company’s growth story.

Also speaking at the event, Mr. Oliver Omajuwa, Deputy Director, Strategy and Operations, highlighted that the theme “Mission: Possible” perfectly aligns with SIFAX’s belief that every challenge can be transformed into an opportunity through the right mindset and teamwork.

“There are two categories of customers—external and internal. The way we treat our colleagues directly impacts how we serve our external customers. Respect and collaboration are key,” he said.

Subsidiaries including Ports & Cargo Handling Services, SIFAX Logistics, and Skyway Aviation Handling Company (SAHCO) held various activities throughout the week. Events such as scenario plays, orientation sessions, and team-building exercises helped foster a unified customer-service philosophy.

Key highlights included:

  • Role-Swap Day: Managing Directors and Heads of Business Units took on frontline customer service roles, gaining firsthand insight into customer interactions.
  • Health & Wellness Day: Free health checks (blood pressure, sugar level, BMI) and eye-care sessions were offered to staff and customers, promoting preventive care and workplace safety.
  • Experience Sharing Session: Coordinated by Mrs. Catherine Abuah, Group Head, Marketing and Chairperson of the CSW Committee, the session encouraged staff to share best practices for improving service delivery and internal processes.
  • Office Decoration & Customer Appreciation: Offices were creatively decorated, and customers were celebrated through thoughtful gestures.
  • Trivia, Games, and Competitions: The grand finale featured team contests, photo sessions, and a cake-cutting ceremony to close the celebration on a high note.

The successful celebration of Customer Service Week 2025 once again underscores SIFAX Group’s unwavering commitment to fostering a work environment where employees feel valued and empowered, and where customers receive exceptional service at every touchpoint.

At SIFAX, Mission: Possible is more than a theme—it is a daily reality.
