In a renewed drive to fortify the security architecture of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, CP Miller G. Dantawaye, psc, has embarked on a series of high-level visits to heads of sister security agencies in Abuja.
On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, the Police Commissioner paid courtesy calls to the Commander, Guards Brigade, Brigadier General Adebisi Onasanya; Commander, Naval Base Abuja, Commodore O. E. Oladipo; Commander, 053 NAF Camp, Group Captain H. S. Ibrahim; and the Commandant, NSCDC FCT Command, Dr. Olusola Odumosu.

The visits, which form part of CP Dantawaye’s ongoing familiarization tour since assuming office, were designed to strengthen operational cooperation, intelligence sharing, and inter-agency coordination in tackling security challenges within the Territory.
Speaking during the engagements, CP Dantawaye stressed that effective policing and national security can only thrive through unity of purpose among all security actors. He lauded the long-standing cooperation among the agencies, describing inter-agency collaboration as a “non-negotiable pillar for maintaining peace and order in the nation’s capital.”
“No single agency can do it alone,” the Police Commissioner stated. “The safety and stability of the FCT depend on how effectively we share intelligence, coordinate responses, and act as one united front against criminal elements.”
In their respective remarks, the military and paramilitary commanders pledged sustained partnership with the Police, assuring the CP of their continued readiness to work together in ensuring a secure and peaceful Federal Capital Territory.
The visit, which ended on a note of mutual respect and renewed commitment, underscores the shared vision of the security agencies to strengthen cooperation in the face of evolving threats to public safety.
