Orodata Science, in collaboration with the Africa Data Hub (ADH), has announced the launch of the PHC Innovation Hackathon, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at transforming Primary Healthcare (PHC) delivery across Nigeria through the power of data-driven innovation.
The hackathon invites data scientists, developers, public health experts, and innovators to develop practical, data-powered solutions that address persistent challenges in Nigeria’s healthcare system — including inefficient resource allocation, limited access to medical care, and poor visibility into healthcare infrastructure.
Participants will gain access to a rich PHC data repository featuring critical information on, Infrastructure, Service Delivery, Welfare, Inclusivity and Telecommunication Maps.
This data access is designed to empower innovators to develop real-world solutions capable of improving the reach, efficiency, and quality of Nigeria’s primary healthcare system. Teams will also receive mentorship and technical guidance from experts at Orodata Science and Africa Data Hub throughout the competition.
