Innovation and Efficiency Propel Port Harcourt II Customs to Record ₦76.07 Billion Revenue in October 2025

The Nigeria Customs Service, Port Harcourt Area II Command, has achieved another remarkable milestone by generating ₦76,075,447,369.83 in revenue for October 2025, setting a new all-time monthly record in the history of the Command.

This outstanding accomplishment reflects the Command’s continued drive for operational innovation, strategic reforms, and a renewed spirit of collaboration under the leadership of Comptroller Aliyu M. Alkali.

By fostering stronger partnerships with port stakeholders, maintaining open communication channels, and ensuring compliance-driven operations, the Command has created a business environment that supports both efficient trade facilitation and effective revenue collection.

Comptroller Alkali’s leadership has also emphasized strategic deployment of officers based on operational needs and performance indicators. This data-informed approach has enhanced productivity, accountability, and the Command’s capacity to exceed revenue expectations.

In his remarks, Comptroller Alkali attributed the achievement to the shared vision and teamwork of all officers, licensed customs agents, and stakeholders operating within the port.

“Our success is rooted in innovation, discipline, and collaboration,” he stated. “Every officer and stakeholder played a role in achieving this record. Together, we are redefining what effective service delivery means within the Nigeria Customs Service.”

He reaffirmed the Command’s dedication to sustaining this momentum through continuous stakeholder engagement, transparent operations, and strict adherence to customs regulations.
