The Chairman of SIFAX Group, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, CON, has showered glowing tributes on the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Alhaji Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, as he marks his birthday, praising his outstanding leadership and far-reaching contributions to Nigeria’s economic development and global trade profile.
In a goodwill message issued on behalf of the Board, Management and Staff of SIFAX Group, Dr. Afolabi described Adeniyi as a transformational leader whose stewardship has ushered in a new era of professionalism, efficiency and credibility within the Nigeria Customs Service.
According to him, the Comptroller-General’s tenure has been marked by bold reforms and strategic initiatives that have significantly strengthened customs operations across the country. Dr. Afolabi further remarked that the milestone birthday is a reflection of Adeniyi’s competence, integrity and global outlook, describing him as a source of national pride and an inspiration for public sector leadership across Africa.
